Charming character holiday cottages on the river front with mooring Broome (near Bungay) next to a fishing lake. Our holiday cottages norfolk have been refurbished to the highest standards and awarded a four-star rating by Visit Britain (formerly the Tourist Board). We have 3 cottages in Broome, near Beccles,Opposite a fishing lake :- Swallow and Yare cottages on the riverside at Reedham and Tumbledown cottages.

 

The picturesque, unspoilt village of Reedham has two shops and three good pubs with excellent food. Reedham is on the River Yare which has good access to much of the Broads area. There are regular rail and bus links to Norwich and Yarmouth, taking about ten minutes (15 – 20 mins by car).

The pretty market towns of Beccles and Acle are about ten minutes drive away. A small car ferry enables you to reach the Suffolk Heritage coast in about half an hour. Reedham is an ideal centre for boating, fishing, rambling, bird watching and wildlife. Golf and riding are also available nearby.

Broome

Broome is a lovely little village on the north bank of the River Waveney, which forms the border with Suffolk, some 2 km north of the town of Bungay and 20 km south-east of the city of Norwich. The civil parish in the 2001 census had a population of 475 in 190 households. There is a village pub with good home cooked food and a big selection of real ales. Fishing, walks and nature are all on your doorstep.
